One Life. Two Continents. A Story Still Unfolding.

Joshua Schneeloch’s life has rarely followed a predictable path. Born in Germany and raised in a Catholic orphanage, he entered adulthood determined to build a life larger than the circumstances he came from. That journey took him through military service, international fashion, music and television, entrepreneurship, and eventually to America, where he built businesses, became a husband and father, and created the family life he had once grown up without.

Yet success never answered one fundamental question: Where did I come from?

The search for that answer eventually led Joshua across the Atlantic to his biological father and, unexpectedly, to an entire American family and history he had never known. What followed wasn't simply a reunion. It changed his understanding of identity, faith, fatherhood, family, and the meaning of home.
Today, that story continues to unfold between Germany and America. Joshua is developing a book and documentary project that chronicles the journey and explores the lessons hidden within an extraordinary life.
His story is no longer simply about finding where he came from.
It is about what he chooses to do with what he found.

For years, Joshua searched for answers for himself. Today, his purpose is to use those answers to create possibilities for others.

Through storytelling, speaking, his developing book and documentary project, and a growing charitable vision, Joshua wants to reach people wrestling with questions of identity, belonging, family, faith, and purpose—especially those whose beginnings did not give them the security, opportunity, or sense of belonging every child deserves.

His mission is not to make his own reunion the ending. It is to make it a beginning.

A beginning that can encourage people to keep searching, help families reconnect, give hope to children growing up without traditional family structures, and demonstrate that circumstances can shape the beginning of a life without determining its destination.

Enough people can create a movement.

Joshua believes identity isn't something we manufacture for the world. It is something we spend a lifetime discovering.

Achievement can build a career. Discipline can build a business. Ambition can build a life. But none of them, by themselves, can answer the deeper questions of who we are, where we belong and what all of it is ultimately for.

​

His own journey taught him that faith sometimes means continuing without evidence, resilience means building even when pieces are missing, and success means more when what you have built can serve someone beyond yourself.

The leaders and people Joshua respects most are not simply those who built the most.

They are the ones who discovered why they were building, and then used what they built to lift others.
